Dick is a prolific writer. He has written more than 400 articles on stained glass that have appeared in such trade publications as Glass Digest, Stained Glass Magazine and the Stained Glass Journal, where he served as Interim Editor.
He published and illustrated a monthly newsletter called Guidelines, which later provided the nucleus for the SGAA Reference & Technical Manual, to which he has been a major contributor. He is co-author of the book, Stained Glass Painting.
He has been the subject of magazine articles, radio and television interviews and the first teaching video, Introducing Stained Glass Painting.
In addition, he is the founder and a frequent contributer to the Stained Glass Forum, a web forum where stained glass professionals from around the world exchange views and information.
